Graeme was born and raised in South Africa and in 1983 obtained a BA (Law) at Stellenbosch University near Cape Town, which is an Afrikaans medium law school. He then obtained an LLB degree at the University of Natal.

During his national service he was a military lawyer and conducted various administrative and judicial proceedings, including trials at military courts martial, in the Afrikaans language. In 1989, Graeme immigrated to Canada and settled in London. He continued his legal studies in Canada graduating with an LLB from the University of Western Ontario in 1992.

Graeme is happy to assist Afrikaans-speaking clients with their business law needs, and can also translate Afrikaans legal documents into English if required. Graeme’s practices in the area of business law.

Adnan Chahbar graduated from the University of Western Ontario Law School in 2004 and then joined Siskinds LLP first as an articling student and then as a Associate Lawyer. Adnan practices almost exclusively in the area of Business Law assisting businesses and their owners with a myriad of legal issues including, incorporations, shareholder agreements, purchase and sale transactions, and preparation and review of a variety of different commercial agreements.

Adnan was born and raised in London, Ontario, Canada, which has very large Arab and Muslim communities. Although Adnan’s practice is not restricted to assisting clients from within these communities, his clients do include businesses in several countries of the Middle East including, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Lebanon. Adnan is able to effectively assist these clients because of his knowledge of domestic law and fluency in Arabic. Adnan welcomes inquiries in relation to any business related issues.

Rasha El-Tawil obtained her law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2007. Rasha has lived in London for many years and is active with the local Arab community. Prior to moving to London, Rasha lived in Kuwait where she attended an Arabic elementary school. Rasha is fluent in Arabic. As an associate in the Personal Injury Group, Rasha is committed to helping individuals and their families protect their rights as a result of a motor vehicle accident or other injury.

Renato, a partner at Siskinds, received his Bachelor of Arts in 1969 and Bachelor of Laws in 1972 both from the University of Western Ontario. Renato was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1974. Renato practices Commercial Litigation including Employment Law and Defamation Law. Born in Milan Italy, moved to Canada at the age of 2, grew up partly in Toronto attending most of high school in London. Renato is fluent in Italian and has working knowledge of Friulano.

Maciej obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in history as well as his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario. Maciej is an Associate and Civil Litigator with Siskinds’ Personal Injury Department and focuses on representing individuals in disputes involving Personal Injury, Insurance, and Employment matters.

Maciej moved to London, Ontario, from Krasnik, Poland at the age of 6. Maciej is fluent in Polish.

Dagmara is an associate in the General Litigation department. A significant part of her practice is dedicated to assisting the Polish and European communities with various legal issues. Dagmara was born in Poland and is fluent in the Polish language. Growing up, she was active in the Polish communities in Toronto and Sarnia, and now London. Since commencing her career, she has developed a reputation within the Polish community as a young Polish lawyer (Polski prawnik), committed to protecting her clients’ rights and interests. She offers legal services in both Polish and English.

Anna Szczurko obtained her law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2008. Prior to moving to London, Anna attended a Ukrainian elementary school and completed high school in Mississauga, home of a large Polish community. Anna is fluent in Ukrainian and has a working knowledge of Polish.
